Biography
Susanna Arakelyan
lives and works in Yerevan, Armenia. She was born on the 4th December
1972 in Yerevan. While she was a young girl, Susanna attended the Modern Art
Studio for Children in 1983-87, Faculty of Graphics. She studied at the Yerevan
State University in 1992-1997 and got a diploma in Fine Art and Graphic Design.
The artist mostly
finds her inspirations in real life and gives them a new life by transforming
them, by catching fragments of life. “I try to express myself in a warm and
simple way, to make my paintings accessible to the public and touch human
feelings – such as love, memory and humour”- she says.
